Google launches "G1" on T-Mo! (Watch out Iphone)

The first Android phone to hit the market is the "G1" by Google & carried on the T-Mobile network. It's expected to be released October 22nd & priced at $179 with a T-Mo contract. Finally T-Mo gets something cool! Android is the big G's first attempt at a mobie OS (yup complete with mobile ads). They actually expect their mobile ads will surpass their multi-billion dollar pc ad revenue. This sexy thang comes in three initial colors: black, white, brown. It will come bundled with Google Maps, Gmail and YouTube. This is meant to be another "convergence device". This is a good first step in Google's eventual dominance of the mobile web. The mobile web is starting to look up! 'Til next time fiends!
